Poggio Giulia

This place is such a find! Amazing location with stunning sunsets, generous facilities, attentive staff and a beautiful peaceful swimming pool. Every apartment has its own outside dining space. It is a 7 minute drive to the nearest supermarket and restaurants. Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca and Pisa are all within an hour's drive. Florence is a bit further but can still be done in a day trip. Elisabetta gave us so much advice for where to visit and what to eat. You can order breakfast goods/bread from a local bakery that then delivers them at 9am the next day. There is a lovely walk from the site into the hills.

In the hot weather, there was a bit of noise from everyone sitting outside at night, but it didn't go on too late.

Absolute aanrader! Enorm genoten van de rust, het uitzicht en de ruimte en zelfs een paar nachten bijgeboekt. Prachtige rustig gelegen villa in het hart van Toscane met zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Vlakbij mooie dorpen en steden, vlakbij een supermarkt. We konden zelfs onze auto opladen bij de villa.

ausgezeichnete Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht, genügend Parkplätze, guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in bekannte Städte in der Umgebung, die Wohnungen sind perfekt eingerichtet. Frederiko ist ein äusserst zuvorkommender und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Sehr schöne Poolanlage.

We liked everything. The location, the scenery, the accommodation… The owners were incredibly pleasant and helpful, we didn't lack for anything.
