This pet-friendly lodge is the perfect choice to explore Scarborough, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby, with a host of beautiful walks, along with the use of an enclosed paddock.. 1 step to entrance.

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric liquid stone heating, IR panel heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Decked area with picnic bench. Bike store. Electric vehicle charging point. Electric vehicle charging point. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. These incredible lodges are the perfect choice to take a step back from busy life and enjoy your stay here. Look out into the woods opposite a Bronze Age settlement whilst cosying up reading a good book or watching TV. You are surrounded by stunning old country inns with roaring fires and huge beer gardens, woodland walks, one of which leads to the twin waterfalls and beach at Hayburn Wyke with its pebbled beach, and is only a short walk away. Sit back, relax and take in the night skies that you are situated within, and one of only 19 Dark Sky Reserves. Much of the area’s beautiful scenery is within easy walking distance with the hustle and bustle being only a short drive away. There are popular country inns within 100 and 800 metres walk.
Local attractions include the Hayburn Wyke twin waterfall and pebbled beach, 1700 metres away, The Old Railway cinder track is 900 metres away and is over 20 miles long, and the Cleveland Way coastal path is 1100 metres away. A little further afield and within driving distance are Ravenscar, 7 minutes, Robin Hoods Bay, 10 minutes, and Peasholm Park and Scarborough Open Air Theatre, are both a 6-minute drive. The town centre is 10 minutes’ drive, and Alpamare Water Park and Wellness Spa and the Sea Life Centre, are both 5 minutes’ drive. Scarborough cricket ground can be reached in 7 minutes and North Bay Beach is 6 minutes’ drive. The supplied EV charger is a type 2 which plugs into a 3-pin outdoor socket in the parking area. What an amazing place to stay felt comfortable from the minute we walked in was very clean and comfortable, great for the dog also with the closed paddock! Would definitely recommend and will be looking forward to revisiting sometime in the near future.

We had a lovely time away in this peaceful and tranquil place 😊 it was everything we wanted being warm and cosy. The hosts we so welcoming and will be returning in the future

We came here for a New Year Break with our 2 year old and we absolutely loved it! David was so friendly and happy enough to be contacted should you needed anything. Our little boy loved it. We visited the sea life centre, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and off court down to the sea front on Scarborough. We cannot wait to come back, this time with our tail wagging friend who would love the enclosed field to run riot in! Thanks again :-)
