Quiet villa with pool and air conditioning, 10 minutes from the beach

Overall the stay was good. The villa is nice. There are just a few small things that would make the villa really excellent. It just needs a few bits of maintenance work. The fridge is very old and the freezer is too small plus the freezer door was broken!!. The light in the pool in the evening does not work or the switch for pool light is not accessible to guests so in the evening the pool is in darkness. The bulbs outside the villa downstairs need replacing. The dishwasher is not installed correctly so when you open the door the entire dishwasher falls forward. There needs to be more plug sockets in the bedrooms ( there is only 2 in each bedroom) if you plug a mosquito repellent then you can only plug one bedside light in. So you cannot plug a fan in or a phone charger. There needs to be better air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms as the central unit does NOT cool the rooms and there are NO fans ( we had to hire very small desk fans for 60) I would also suggest that the down stairs shower needs a very deep clean as the sealant and tiles are very stained. Also the drain in the downstairs shower was blocked and my husband had to unblock this twice during the stay as the bathroom floods.Finally I would suggest spending a little extra money in order to provide good quality towels and better quality bedding the cost to rent the villa in August the bedding/ towels were very small and cheap. Overall the villa is nice BUT needs a little bit of attention to make it 5 star
