Sonido Del Mar, Island Retreat, 9 minute walk to the beach

We had a very relaxing vacation at Sonido Del Mar.Our hosts, David and Valerie, were very responsive to any questions we had. The property was immaculate and the view of the ocean is impressive. We enjoyed evening cocktails watching the sunset from the Estella. It was very beautiful. All the amenities of the house were appreciated especially the dishwasher and washing machine. The house is beautifully decorated and really gives you an island vibe. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience Montserrat.

The location was fabulous. The actual property could be fantastic. Many problems occurred No hot water for over a week. Poor communication with property manager. Water leaked that flooded downstairs and we had to sweep it out. Several pieces of furniture were worn out!!! Had trouble with dishwasher. No light in refrig. Most faucets need to be replaced I believe the new owners need to recheck before renting again. Leak in roof when we had heavy rain. The property was listed as 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. But downstairs area was not ready and had the water all over
