Mangrove Beach Houses

The houses are very cute and private. Loved the hammock outside, felt like you were in the jungle. And very quiet. You can walk to the towns on either side - but it is a walk along the road with no pavement. There is a beautiful beach right at the bottom by the cottages, but it is not for swimming as too shallow most of the time so if you want to cool down you'll need to go somewhere with a pool or deeper beach (Zen beach for example 10/15 mins walk away). Also, comfortable bed. Hot water and great shower pressure!

As a solo traveller, the type of bungalow and lack of social spaces makes it quite a lonely place. So, I would say it is perfect for a couple as a lots of privacy. And would recommend getting a scooter if you as here.

It was ok! The location was good as it was close to of the main “district” on the island. And we enjoyed that we could walk to the nearest night market.

The house seems quite old and it’s really really tiny. We thought the position was going to be better but we didn’t find a easy way to the beach. The house is really really small. The amount of mosquito was not okay. We struggled so much with that we could never really be outside not even with repellent.

Lovely and well equipped apartment, inside the coconut trees and close to the beach.

The location was good. The air conditioner was strong.
