It was the REAL experience on how life in the boat looks like. Sea breeze, authentic wooden environment inside, mini but all necessery amenities to make coffee, prepare meal on the mobile gas stove, water and electricity supply, as well as a-plane-style wc. Location is just in the middle of everything in Nida, also the neighborhood around is very safe. In addition, the owner can organize various sailing trips with this or other boats for a special price :)

If your goal is to escape daily socializing, crowds, and take a break from society, "Varuna" is the best choice in Nida. Instead of a traditional hotel where you constantly hear noisy neighbors through the walls or people running down the hallways, here you get your own completely isolated fortress. For me personally, the greatest luxury was sitting on the deck in the evening, alone with my thoughts, with no outside eyes and no background noise around. The ship's microclimate is incredibly calming: the gentle swaying and the sounds of the water at night work better than any meditation music. In the morning – no shared breakfast rooms or crowds. You just calmly sip your coffee on the deck, watch the waking horizon, and enjoy the absolute silence. If you feel like going for a walk, you step out onto the waterfront early, while the town is still asleep. A perfect vacation format for those looking for deep solitude rather than the standard tourist hustle.

Unexpected but lovely stay on Varuna yacht After a booking disaster with another company, we found Varuna yacht as the most affordable last-minute option in Nida — and honestly, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s a cozy and charming place, especially for those who love the water. That said, sleeping on a boat is a unique experience — you’ll either love it or realize it’s not for you. But it’s definitely worth trying at least once! If you’re into peaceful vibes, gentle waves, and something different than a regular hotel — Varuna is a great choice.
