Heritage cottage in South Hobart

Great location, easy walk to Salamanca market. Very cute little cottage.

The stairs take a bit of getting used to.

The cottage was warm, cute, comfortable & clean. The kitchen was well equipped with most cooking items, the host messages were super friendly. It felt we were coming back to our own home everyday completely at peace from venturing out and about. The glass house dining area was stunning for morning sits and the cosy clawfoot bath for stunning soaks. Great location and short walk to the Hobart Rivulet and.many other South Hobart gems plus an easy flat walk into town and back.

Property was immaculately clean with a very cute enclosed courtyard which was great for the dogs to roam around in

Narrow steep staircase up to the bedrooms. Would not suit anyone with mobility issues. There were no basic pantry items (eg. Teabags, coffee, milk).

I’ve attracted by the glasshouse balcony, and the word of HERITAGE. Got an expectation on this property was been maintained well and recently got renovated by the photo provided from the owner.

This property was not an individual house, as the entrance was on the side of another “abandoned” or “a full of garbage packed and placed in their front door” building/ house. You will be staying at the back of this “1-2-3 house building”. The parking was not designed for an SUV car to parked. The photo from owner did match the reality, BUT they haven’t shown the way for entrance and the STAIRS to go up the rooms. The Stairs was cracked and cannot fit someone that is more than 65kg or taller than 175cm. We have to Need to reconsider where to stay because of this issues.
