Not very much, really. It was very easy to park in front of the house.

To get to the room we had to go through their garage/workshop having to circumvent all sorts of cages, cars and machinery. The room hasn’t got any windows, only a glass door from the garden but it is a passing alleyway so when you draw the curtains you are in total darkness. It was extremely hot at night so we had to leave the door ajar but we didn’t feel comfortable because anyone passing could see inside. The bedding is synthetic or some sort of nylon that makes it even hotter. Only one middle size towel was provided for 2 people, fairly old, clean but old. The design of this room is crazy, especially the toilet/bathroom situation with no privacy whatsoever. They provide a fridge, a microwave and coffee/tea making facilities and some crockery but there is no kitchen sink or counters and is all a bit awkward if you had to make a meal. Horrible neon lights hanging from the ceiling and no reading lamps by the bed. We were looking forward to spending the afternoon there on arrival, but we left after a while because we felt claustrophobic and the lighting wasn’t welcoming in the least while the sun was shining outside. It’s in the middle of nowhere, we went for a walk in the village but it was dead so we got in the car searching for a nice restaurant which we found a few miles from there. We were glad we had only booked 1 night.
