Oasis

Location: lake in front of the house, with lots of birds. Amazing view through huge windows, and from a large balcony. Great hot tub overlooking the lake. Ample parking space. Not too far from Sherbrooke, about half an hour max by car, depending on time of day. Also a lot of facilities which we couldn't use due to rainy and chilly weather, but should be lovely during summer. Very responsive and pleasant host.

Two minor items regarding bedrooms: It was a bit chilly when we stayed there, and a heat exchanger is used to heat the house. It makes quite a lot of noise in the bedroom on the lower floor. If you are a light sleeper this may be unpleasant, although we were able to manage it by setting the termostat to a low temperature before going to bed. The bed in the top floor has a soft mattress, which is a matter of taste. But the bed is also not very wide, so it is hard to sleep without waking each other up when turning over.

The proximity to the lake, wrap around covered porch, water sport equipment, furniture and bed comfortable, very clean very well equipped kitchen.
