We loved the cabin, we stayed in the superior cabin and it was super clean and extremely well kitted out. The hosts had really thought of everything we were very impressed with all the outdoor seating options and the spacious modern interiors. It was excellent value for money.
Unfortunately some guests in the next cabin thought it was appropriate to fly a drone several times around the property over our heads and in the area while we were sitting at the fire pit. We found this really inconsiderate and it should be explicitly prevented. Also another cabin or perhaps neighbours property seemed to have several teenagers and they were really noisy. It was such a pity as it’s a beautiful location and we were looking for tranquility but we didn’t get it. We would opt for something more private next time.

The facility was extremely clean and organized, with a beautiful view of the sunset on the lake. We could enjoy kayaking during different times of the day. We had the amazing lucky to watch the meteors shower at the fire pit. It was a 10 minutes driving downtown and around 20 minutes from the provincial parks. Staff was really helpful and answered us right the way. Strongly recommend.

We had a stay with mixed feelings and impressions. This place truly has a superb location. It's really cool that you can use kayaks all day round on a 'first come, first serve'-basis, worked out pretty well for us. And the water in this little bay is so calm and flat that you can safely kayak with your kid. Also the cottages have a fireplace, a big terrace, another table outside and a barbecue. Beautiful. Also the mattresses are in a good condition, the kitchen is well-equipped. However...
...unfortunately our general impression is not soooo good in the end. Especially in the context of the high price that is charged. 1. While booking, you can easily get a wrong impression about the quality standard, because the largest amount of photos from the inside is made in the biggest of the cottages that seems to have a different standard than the smaller cottages. We stayed at the Huron Cottage (Blue one) and 4 or 5 of the 9 pictures of that cottage are made from outside and the rest shows only small details from the inside. What you don't see, for example, is a completely worn down couch and only little storage possibilities for clothing (enough for 2 persons, but 4?). It's also a bit unchilly to have only very bright white light in all the rooms... 2. Unfortunately the towels that we got looked overused AND some of them were a bit smelly - we got 2 new ones after complaining, but they had pretty much the same standard. That was a bad surprise to us in an accommodation with such a high price rate. 3. "Run down" was unfortunately the quality standard for a few more things: as well the table outside and the whole terrace had not had a new paint in the last years. The right side of the terrace' hand railing is so rotten that it would immediately brake if someone's leaning onto it. The place mats for the table had disgusting black fox marks /mildew spots on it... 4. Last but not least: Communication! Our gas tank for the barbecue was empty. So we wrote a message, where we described the situation (about 10pm in the evening). At 2 pm in the afternoon next day there was still no reaction and then all we got was a one-liner, asking if we need a new gas tank. It took us several messages and the thread to escalate to booking.com to get the new gas tank (almost 2 days after the first message).
