Chez Maryam , pour les familles à 10 minutes de la plage

L’emplacement est pratique, entre Agadir et Taghazout, avec tous les commerces accessibles à pied dans la rue principale d’Aourir, inutile même d’aller au supermarché, plus cher pour les mêmes produits. Le propriétaire a été très chaleureux à notre arrivée : il s’est rendu disponible par téléphone pour nous guider et nous a aidés à trouver notre chemin. L’appartement était conforme aux photos, situé au deuxième étage chez l’habitant, avec un petit balcon offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur les montagnes et la mer. Il est assez spacieux pour quatre personnes. L’annonce précise l’absence de climatisation et de wifi, ce que nous confirmons, mais les nuits se rafraîchissent grâce au vent et nous n’avons pas souffert de la chaleur. Nous avons aussi apprécié le petit grill mis à disposition, très pratique pour cuisiner

L’appartement est situé tout en haut d’une côte très raide, difficilement accessible pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. La réservation a posé problème avant notre départ : impossible d’obtenir une réponse du propriétaire via la messagerie Booking, ce qui a fait naître un doute sur la réalité de la location. Il nous a fallu le contacter directement par téléphone pour confirmer la réservation ; il nous a indiqué ne jamais consulter les messages Booking, mieux vaut donc le contacter directement par téléphone. Une des chambres est éclairée toute la nuit par un lampadaire extérieur, avec un rideau non occultant, ce qui nous a contraints à dormir dans le salon. Le nécessaire de cuisine est minimaliste et les poêles sont abîmées. Aucun ménage ni changement de draps n’a été effectué en quinze jours, et aucun produit de nettoyage n’était fourni. Seuls deux fils à linge sont disponibles, sur une terrasse partagée qui, malgré les photos, n’est pas réservée aux locataires de cet appartement.

We had such an amazing stay at Chez Maryam and honestly didn't want to leave. The first thing that blew us away was the breathtaking view – whether you were relaxing on the balcony or enjoying the terrace, it never got old. The apartment is full of beautiful traditional Moroccan charm and has such a warm, cosy feel to it. It's bright and filled with natural light, wonderfully open and airy, making it such a relaxing place to spend time. The authentic Moroccan décor gives it so much character while still feeling incredibly comfortable. It's also fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and you can tell it's been lovingly looked after and maintained to a really high standard. The kitchen was another highlight. It's really spacious and has everything you could need if you want to cook during your stay. We loved having the space to prepare meals properly instead of feeling cramped like you often do in holiday rentals. It just made everything feel easy and comfortable, like being at home. We also loved the traditional salon. The comfortable sofas and authentic décor made it such a lovely place to relax, especially with the balcony doors open and the fresh air coming in. The location is spot on too – a short walk to the beach, with loads of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby, so everything is right on your doorstep. What really made our trip special, though, was Lahcen and the whole family. Lahcen is an incredible host who genuinely goes out of his way to make sure you have the best possible experience. He was always recommending the best local spots, hidden gems, beaches and restaurants, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. His advice made our trip so much better than if we'd tried to figure it all out ourselves.They made us feel so welcome that by the end of the stay, it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to family rather than hosts.
