Nestled in the hillside above the town of Dongo on the northwest shore of Lake Como, the Villa Cassia is a hidden gem. Designed in a charming alpine chalet style, it is rustic yet incredibly comfortable with all the modern conveniences. Stefania our host's manager was very warm and friendly and responsive to all our Neds including arranging for a catered dinner one evening at the villa because the place is so amazing we didn't want to go out! There is a sauna and a small pool which in early Spring served as the cold plunge! But what really makes the Villa Cassia special is that breathtaking panoramic views which greet you on the balconies that surround the house. The perfect place for our family on our first visit to Lake Como.
My sons complained of the spotty WiFi but we were there during an incredibly windy period so that may have been the issue. Also be cautious about the winding roads leading to the property, they can be perilous!

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero splendido in questa villa. La casa è ampia, curata nei minimi dettagli e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari. Gli ambienti sono puliti, luminosi e arredati con gusto.
Gli spazi esterni sono perfetti per rilassarsi e godersi la tranquillità del luogo.
La vista sul lago è spettacolare. Il proprietario/host è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a rispondere a qualsiasi esigenza.
Consigliamo vivamente questa villa a chi cerca relax, comfort e un’esperienza di qualità. Torneremo sicuramente!

Everything was perfect: the view over the lake, super comfortable beds and pillows, great style and the atmosphere is exceptionally cosy and luxurious at the same time!
