The Cam Ranh Oceanview Resort

The view from the room was fantastic. The staff was great. While the gym has few equipment, it was usable. We love the outdoor pool; it was clean and beautiful.

It was very noisy at the check-in lounge.

Liked the room itself.

Walking distance to just about everything. Breakfast was not worth what we paid for it.

Location near beach was okay.

Lack of English language by staff, only understanding my Vietnamese Wife and not listening to me, checking in between 2pm and 3pm and our room was not ready, told to wait or come back later. Loud banging at 10:30-11:30pm like someone moving furniture in the room above us, complained to reception but as their language skills were not up to a suitable standard, my Vietnamese Wife had to explain. Restaurant staff not taking the correct food order. Breakfast was purely aimed at Asians with very limited western choices. Checking in with cash or card choice, using a card cost me 100,000 dong more. Strange find in a drawer in the room, a single saucer, a spoon and wall plugs???
