A gem of a house in a serene setting.

A gem of a place. Nice large very presented house. Tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. In a quiet serene treed location. Well located within 30 mins of Yosemite National Park entrance. Everything one would ever need in the kitchen. Nice comfortable bed. Great WiFi. Host very responsive and helpful.

Amazing place and very unique. Very natural and peaceful

The house is amazing, and it was super unique for us. The kitchen was super equipped, and we had everything we needed. The manager was gentle and took care of everything we needed. There is a great lake nearby were we swam and took kayaks for half a day.

It is not close to the Yosemite park, 1+ hour drive, and there is an additional daily entrance fee to the place the house is located

Well-appointed, solid cabin perfect for a tech-reduced vacation.

The location of the cabin was perfect, as was the ease of check in and out. The cabin itself was well-stocked with everything we could need to self-cater, and the beds were extremely comfortable, which was great!

The most concerning thing for us was the plumbing. We had a few hours on two occasions when neither toilet would flush, which was a bit concerning, and the toilet water in both toilets rose whenever the shower was on. Of less practical concern, but still frustrating, was the WiFi. It worked maybe 50% of the time, and required the router to be turned off and on at least several times per day. I understand that it’s a rural area, but a warning would have been nice, or it shouldn’t have been listed as a consistent amenity.

A wonderful place to stay for a few days or even a few weeks.

Everything. We did not expect such a big, clean, welcoming and beautiful place. All we needed was there. It was not a cabin as we expected but a full house with 2 bedrooms, two full baths, a huge kitchen and living room with a fire place. Games were provided for adults and children. We could do a laundry and cook good meals. The place was immaculate and so beautiful. We wished we had reserved it for a few more nights. The location was quiet, with nature all around. A total gem! I travel a lot and in many countries, I can tell this is the first time we had such a great place and not too far from Yosemite. I recommend it very highly.

Good location, Clean, but Pricey, No Communication

The cabin was clean, well-maintained, had all the necessary appliances, extra blankets, etc. Location was good, 30 min to Yosemite park entrance. There was a little grocery store in 5 minutes.

It was hard to communicate with the owners/stuff. I sent an email about a week before going asking to adjust check-in time, since it was 4pm! Which is like really late, especially when you're going to stay for 2 nights, and you're driving from South California, with a child. Didn't hear back from them, ended up arriving around 3pm and was able to get in. Then the next day received an email from them. There are no good places to dine around, wherever we went was a dump. Also, it was kinda hard to find the place at first, for some reason navigation takes you through some dirt road, which we were able to avoid and had to figure out ourselves. The price includes around $100 cleaning fee, but there were multiple instructions how we're supposed to tidy up the place before leaving, even changing the bedding and load the waaher. I mean, that was at first. The fireplace isn't a real fireplace, it's a stove. Lastly, there is a parking fee, $44, which is not mentioned when you book, you get to know about it after booking, which in my opinion is deceiving and unacceptable.
