Lovely, welcoming and peaceful weekend.

We really enjoyed everything on this site, the views, the cleanliness of the room and the size of the cabin (it was definitely bigger than we expected). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they checked out hot tub everyday and assisted when needed, they also lit a fire up by the quarry which we went to visit and we thought this was a lovely touch to our valentines weekend. The hot tub was definitely our favourite part of this trip, it was definitely worth the price and we will absolutely be returning.

We loved everything, we wouldn't change anything.

Peaceful & fabulous

The cabin was beautiful, very clean, quality furnishings, everything you needed was there, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper,quality appliances. The hot tub was fabulous. The staff very friendly, Paul came to greet us and showed us how to work the hot tub and see if we needed anything. The owner also said hello, it was a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location.

Fabulous holiday

The location is stunning. Very relaxing. The staff are very helpful. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards and fishing. Our dog enjoyed the holiday too 😀.

A slice of heaven in rural Shropshire

Beautiful lodges in fantastic surroundings grounds well maintained and everything kept clean and tidy. The lodge was very clean and comfortable had everything you needed very comfy beds. Staff very friendly and hard working the site is a credit to everyone involved thank you for a lovely stay we will be back. Our Labrador didn’t want to come home

Perfect countryside break

The whole site was well looked after, but what we appreciated the most was the attention to detail. The kitchens are fully stocked, cloths and essentials that guests are not likely to bring. Kayaks and pádel boards available on a beautiful stretch of river. Just very friendly and really well looked after.

The only problem I had was that booking.com advertised an oven but there wasn’t one.that was not riverside cabins fault though.

It had everything at your fingertips.the outdoor balcony was really nice and it was situated so you had the best views of the Forrest.the little robot grass cutter had us giggling.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, a well looked after site - cabins lovely and clean, well equiped. Bonus that you could use the kayaks and paddle boards on the river during your stay. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Absolutely amazing area and facilities. Felt like a home from home, especially with the friendly staff. Being able to walk along the river after dark with the lights, and with the communal fire at the quarry, our stay was better than expected.

Not at all a con, however, I was slightly disappointed there were no cleansing products in the shower. After being near fire and in chlorine, I would have enjoyed a full shower. However, I will definitely go again, taking my own shampoo and shower gel will not deter me!

Had everything you needed nice n clean it’s peaceful had a hot tub basically didn’t have to go anywhere else was ideal for our dog to all of us including my young daughter loved it would stay again maybe look at walks in the area and do a walk to next time 😊

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and comfortable. It is situated in beautiful tranquil countryside. Our cabin was right on the river and we had a family of ducks that would visit a few times a day. The hot tub was so relaxing and clean and kept at a lovely warm temperature through our whole stay. The cabin was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Can't wait to go again.

The facilities were great. Just need to be aware that there is no oven or grill. We barbecued so didn’t affect us and an air fryer can be made available I think.

Lovely stay for short weekend would definitely stay again.

Lodge was modern and clean. Like how spacious place was (lodges didn’t feel on top of each other) and had your own privacy.

Only slight moan was place was cold on first night, but once we got settled and used to everything was easy to warm place up.

The location and canoeing and the coffee machine and shower, the bed was really comfortable.

There was building work, it was a wellness retreat. You could hear machines most of the day, also lawn mowers ect constant noise. It didn't feel private niether the amount of times staff where at the door knocking when the curtains where drawn. Cheak out states 10 to 1030 on the booking. Why the hell where staff banging on the door at 9:50 am? 👀 There was also no iron or hair dryer facilities. The room was also roasting.we where informed when it reaches a certain temperature in there underfloor heating kicks in. It's all well in the cold months but not summer 🌞

The room was clean and tidy, most essential items that you would need for a good stay. It was peaceful and the river running along the bottom is lovely.

Where we was based in the hot tub was a bit further away from the lodge, this was a bit of a nightmare when getting in and out. The shower was hard to figure out how to use.
