The Beach House

Loved the location and facilities. Really comfy bed and pillows. Really wish I knew what they were as I want them in my own home (downstairs bedroom). Really thoughtful welcome basket with bread, milk, crumpets, jam etc. Really handy downstairs shower/toilet room and main bathroom being on the 1st floor. Washing machine/tumble dryer handy. Didn't use the dishwasher. Hot tub was really big and fun. lots of games to play and literally a 60 second walk to the amusements and a really clean and sandy beach, but still far enough away for the area to be really quiet and relaxed. I was worrying about the key collection but it really is a case of putting in the code and getting your key. It is that simple. If I come to Mablethorpe again I would definitely want to come back to this place.

Drainage to sinks in the bathrooms and the downstairs shower is slow to drain and the sink plumbing in the kitchen was leaking but I informed the owner as soon as we found out. Every home has an issue at times so please do not let this put you off. I'm sure they will be fixed before anyone else stays there.

We really enjoyed the location as a family with SEN children it was a small stroll to the beach and town. The property was very spacious, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was lovely and very accessible. Having two bathrooms were very good, especially having children. The hot tub was a win !

I understand the property was pet friendly. But we didn't bring any pets with us. The sofa was covered in dog hairs and the beds smelt of dog really strong smell. The dog bowls could have been packed away. The welcome pack had dog treats in. I do feel the owners could have catered for the people staying in their property a little more. The small details were missed: the toilet seat cracked on the downstairs toilet, Human hairs in a set of drawers where bunk beds were. Bedding in the double room upstairs smelt very strong of dog The cleanliness wasn't amazing. The kitchen flooring was unstable and the skirting board moved away when the patio doors opened.

The location of the Beach House is excellent . It's near everything . Shops , funfair , waterpark , beach ,amusements , restaurants . Also got a good hot tub. The owners Debbie and Chris are lovely anything you want or need they on it straight away

Smell of animals/pets in 2 of the bedrooms ? Urine. Very off-putting. Dog hair around the property. Even though we were aware it was dog friendly, it was very difficult to get rid of these smells. The heating control didn't work, needed a new battery just an inconvenience.
