Tucked next to the woods and built for easy, quiet stays.
Raccoon Cabin is a quiet, tucked-away option, with a patio that looks directly into the pine forest and connects easily to the walking trails—perfect for slower mornings and peaceful evenings.
Like all five cabins at Orange Tractor Retreat, it’s thoughtfully positioned around a private cul-de-sac on 40 wooded acres next to the Wisconsin River—giving you both a sense of your own space with easy access to the property’s trails and shared surroundings.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a seamless stay: Raccoon has a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, plus two twin beds in the loft space. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need: quality linens and towels, walk-in shower, well-equipped kitchen, coffee and tea, spices, games, and a smart TV (just bring your passwords). There’s also Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace should you need to keep up!
Step through the sliding glass doors to your private patio, where Adirondack chairs, a Solo Stove fire pit (with firewood), picnic table, and a gas grill invite you to settle in and enjoy the quiet.
Dogs are welcome, with durable flooring, a cozy dog bed, and lots of wooded walking paths right outside.
After booking, we’ll share our curated guide to the area—favorite supper clubs, restaurants, hiking spots, and local gems—so you can enjoy both the energy of the Dells and the peaceful escape of Orange Tractor Retreat.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. You’re welcome to continue enjoying the cabin and outdoor spaces during this time—just with a lower volume and respect for the peaceful setting.

Immaculately maintained cabin not far from the Dells. Perfect for a family stay. On-site trails and firepit made for an excellent end of day activity. Main bedroom bed was comfortable, AC worked well, kids liked the ladder accessible upstairs. Host was very communicative.

We had a great visit, quiet cabin in wooded acreage. Wonderful hiking trails, perfect for dog walks. Well stocked kitchen. I wish the cabins were not so vlose together, my dogs barked at every person they saw. Overall we had a very nice relaxing stay. Thank you!!

We stayed for a family vacation in the Wisconsin Dells. We opted for a cabin 20 minutes outside of the Dells to avoid the crowds and have a more remote and relaxing environment. We loved the upstairs bunks- but be aware the stairs are a bit tricky to navigate (not a good fit for older adults with mobility issues or young children who may need to be monitored going up and down the ladder). It was nice to be able to get a fire going as well as the grill to cook. And the location was excellent for being close enough to the activities we had planned but not right on the strip. The area has about 5 cabins close together but everyone was quiet and respectful and we had no issues. They have a ton of recommendations for activities, restaurants, hiking, and more available with your stay. Hosts were responsive and helpful when we needed extra towels or had questions.
