The property was as described, very warm and welcoming and the added snacks and cookies was a super nice touch. The family got to meet our hoist Phyllis and she was just as welcoming. This was an extended family stay and we will look here first when we come back. One thing to try is Moms kitchen, just a block up the street, the best biscuits you will get!

Pamlico River Retreat was just as advertised and Phyllis was a gracious and communicative host. It was well supplied to satisfy my needs and was very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend and definitely a place I would stay at again.

This cottage was so cute and comfortable. It was the perfect space for us to spend a few days. The place was clean and comfortable with a wonderful private patio space. The host, Phyllis goes above and beyond to make your stay special.

Pamlico Place was a nice place to stay. It’s amazing how many little touches Phyllis has done to the place, plus free drinks in the refrigerator and snacks on the counter really was a blessing. She thinks of everything like bug spray near the back door and toothpaste and other toiletries in the bathroom in case the traveler forgot something. That’s a thoughtful and thinking host. Thank you, Phyllis.
