Lily Pad, Friston

Just wonderful… couldn’t fault a single thing! The location is idyllic & the hut is equipped with everything you need. We cannot wait to visit again soon :)

I recently stayed in the Lily Pad and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like a perfect little retreat, thoughtfully designed, incredibly comfortable, and clearly built with real care and attention to detail. The space was cozy without feeling cramped, and every feature, from the soft bedding to the clever layout, made it easy to relax and feel at home. What impressed me most was the quality of the build. Everything felt solid and well-crafted, not just decorative. The insulation kept the pod warm and peaceful, and the furnishings were both stylish and practical. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into creating a space that’s not only beautiful but genuinely comfortable to spend time in. Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or just a unique place to unwind, the Lily Pad is perfect. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit, highly recommended to anyone who appreciates comfort, quality, and a little touch of magic.

Location was very private and outside seating was great, especially the summerhouse overlooking the pond.

A sieve would be handy - rice went through the holes in the colander!

No breakfast it was a self catering - perfect. Peaceful and not disturbed by anything or anyone. Just heaven. Hosts were very attentive as my partner had an injury (not related to the property) we very helpful.
