La Charm lived up to its name. It was a wonderful but short stay for my wife and young daughter, but we enjoyed everything about it! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the laundry service was excellent, and the facilities were always clean. Breakfast was yummy as well!

We only stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights , and the location was perfect. Walking distance to old town, and they even have bikes for us to rent to get around. Breakfast buffet had many choices to choose from and room was very comfortable. Since Hoi ain is an old city, the hotel had an antique feeling to it, if you dont mind that vibe. Staff was hospitable and even helped us booked activities and airport pick up. Overall a good short stay at Hoi an!

We are a couple with a 8yr old kid and stayed at La Charm for 3 nights. We had a very good experience overall with the hotel in terms of its location, cleanliness, staff and breakfast options. We however had a very unpleasant experience on our last night. We were hearing loud TV noise that must have started around 1130pm or closer to midnight. This woke us up and we struggled to get back to sleep. It was from the adjacent room. I decided to walk down to the lobby to ask for ear plugs if available. The security at the lobby passed me a couple of ear plugs. This wouldn't make much of a dent in the noise. At this point (around 1.20am) i called the reception to request them to talk to the Guests in the adjacent room and request to lower the TV volume. I waited for 15mins but TV volume didn't get lower, neither did i hear any staff come up to try and talk to the guests in the adjacent room. I then called the reception again and the same security guy told me he called the room and he went up to knock several times but they didn't open the door. I don't believe this to me the case because i was wide awake by this time and standing at our room door. No one came up, neither did anyone call the room next door. In any case the security said they will try again and keep trying. At that point i heard the intercom in the room ring precisely 3 times and stop. And i heard the faintest of knocks next door which was completely drowned under the loud TV noise. At this point, I had an option to take matters into my own hands, but i felt compromising the hotel staff's sleep, the sleep of other guests on the floor and most importantly the sleep for the guests next door (my guess is they were from the trump administration but i could be wrong - they might have been descendants of the great British colonial empire) was too much, in comparison to compromising me and my wife's sleep for the rest of the night. The loud TV continued till 5am+ Next day the reception staff apologised and offered a cash discount which i politely declined. It seems the security had provided a different version of the events the night before - they claimed to have tried knocking multiple times and called several times (which is definitely not true as we were awake all night and all we heard was the loud TV). We have been living and travelling in SE Asia for 20+ years and have been lucky to have not had to deal with something like this. So this time our bad luck caught up with us i guess. For anyone with the patience reading the review, the key message is - if you are not blessed with the best sleep, you might want to reconsider your hotel options. Everything else at the hotel is great.
