Stylish 2 bed flat at Camber Sands

Had a wonderful one‑night stay here. The apartment is beautifully and stylishly designed, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach — and having on‑site parking was a real bonus. A perfect base for a relaxed night away.

Nothing we didn’t like. It was just extra hot because of the heatwave.

The location is fantastic, the facilities are great and Ros and Mel couldn't be any more helpful....a lovely little flat with everything you could need, big smart TV, washing machine, full kitchen. It's minutes from what is contender for UKs best beach. Easy to get to using public transport, the bus stop is right outside. Its nicely decorated and it was clean. The sofas are super comfy... I fell asleep on them almost every night watching a movie. They left me bread and milk which was nice, loads of tea and coffee. Hot water wasn't working and so they sent a plumber to fix it no problems or questions asked. The neighbours are really friendly and always stopped for a chat. Love it here. I hope I get to visit again, possibly for a longer stay... it's one of my favourite booking.com finds

A little freezer box would be nice, just big enough for ice and a tub of ice-cream! Bath panel needs fixing Someone has broken the table(not me) I was a little scared to put weight on it just incase.

The location was fantastic - less than 5 minute walk from the beach - and great for getting to other areas such as the nature reservces and Rye and Hastings. I used the bus mostly which came through once an hour. The host was very responsive when I had an issue at the start with WiFi not working. She was miraculously able to sort that out that evening.

I could have benefited from some instructions for appliances, and the utensils available were a bit of a struggle, otherwise I had a wonderful stay.

Very Tired looking apartment.... Entrance led to 2 bedrooms (single with bunkbed, large double bedroom - bathroom with bath and shower - then large lounge and smallish kitchen. It had everything you needed there but it was definitely not stylish as advertised. It had a parking space which was a bonus. The apartment is up some stairs at the back - access to the front door was easy via the lock box - good communication from the owner (however the default check-in time starting at 4pm is quite late - but managed to access earlier) The single room with the bunk beds had a seaside theme which was nice but the bunk bed top slats were damaged which was not good. The duvets seemed to be like a sleeping bag material which was strange. We did not let our daughter sleep on the top bed due to the damage. The main double the mattress was very cheap and uncomfortable (very springy) - the worse bit however were the windows. half the windows in the apartment were damaged. In the main bedroom none of the windows could be opened which is not good in the middle of the summer. It was the same in other rooms where the window locks were damaged or they were kept closed by wire. The front door also had seen better days and the handle mechanism and fitting were damaged to some extent. The door however did close correctly. The lounge had a TV with dining table - 2 good settees. There were cracks in the walls which could have been repaired fairly easily. The windows in the lounge were very dirty. Bathroom was mostly good with bath and shower which worked well. Kitchen was okay - bit dirty and fairly tired looking but usable - there is a fridge but no freezer. Other facilities good eg. toaster, oven, microwave were good - every utensil you would need was there and a small quantity of general everyday provisions (salt / oil/ pasta / butter / tea / coffee etc.

Very tired looking - various cracks need fixing and main room need repainting Needed cleaning in some areas eg Kitchen (Windows in lounge were really dirty) Bunk bed broken - uncomfortable mattress in main bedroom. Replacement of all windows and doors (or at least the locks if possible) Lack of dropped curb meant vans parked behind our car so it was difficult to exit the property
