The room was very nice and everything worked perfectly. There are tiny shops and small food stalls in walking distance. Hendri is by far the best host I had in Sumatra. He brought me to see the Pacu Jawi and other sights around. He also tried to teach me how to play Koa but I will need a lot more practice!
If you're sensible to noise bring ear plugs because the Guesthouse stands between two mosques and the muezzins start chanting quite early.

The guest house is spot on. The best one we have stayed in West Sumatra. It's exceptionally clean, and rooms are spacious.
The only thing that comes to mind is the lack of washbasins in the toilets.
