The flat was exactly like in the photos. It was clean and had evenything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic - on the high street, 2 min walk from a well-stocked Waitrose shop and local buses.
When were the skylights last cleaned - if at all? You lie in your bed, look out into the sky and all you see is bird droppings - so many they look like a fine lace. The skylights open in such a way that they don't really need a window cleaner to clean them.
We were sent phone numbers of both owners but Charlotte never answered hers. We got Adam on the phone when we arrived and had a problem getting in the flat, but when we left we couldn't reach either.

Stylish decor. Very clean. Lovely crisp clean bedding. Comfortable.
Has washing machine & dishwasher & coffee pod machine.
Good communication re access.
Very central in Lewes. Quite near South Downs way for our cycle.
Space to lock our bikes securely.
There wasn’t anything at all that we didn’t like but note that it’s not suitable if you have any mobility limitations as there’s are steps to main entrance and narrow spiral staircase from communal door to flat. Not a problem at all for us.

Great location right in the centre. Modern and clean. Kitchen and bathroom looked new. All the facilities we needed for 2 people for an overnight stay. Short taxi ride to Glyndebourne.
Instructions to access the property were clear.

It was in a good central location, clean, and bright. Facilities were good and instructions were clear.
I left an item of clothing at the property which the owner kindly offered to return. 4 weeks later and I still haven’t been sent the item and the owner has ignored my messages. It’s put a bad taste in my mouth as the overall stay was ok. Definitely not worth the money I spent to stay which was a lot all things considered to then be ignored.
