Schöne Lage, ruhig, Meerblick, sehr gute Matraze, Küche besonders gut ausgestattet, perfekt zur Selbstverpflegung

Extrem nette und entgegenkommende Gastgeberin, bei Problemen und Fragen immer erreichbar, Betten und Schlafcouch sehr gut, Blick atemberaubend aus beiden Zimmern und vom Balkon, Café und sehr gutes Fischrestaurant im Prinzip im Haus/ Nebengebäude, Erstausstattung an Salz/ Pfeffer/Olivenöl/ Wasser/ Spülmaschinentabs und Seife. gute (und leise!) Klimaanlage. .....und natürlich viele Katzen in Garten und Restaurant ;0)

Das Parken vor dem Haus / in der Nähe war an Abenden/WE etwas schwierig und die Klimaanlage des Nachbarhauses übertönte nachts sogar die Meersgeräusche

We stayed in the apartment on the top floor of the building. It had two double bedrooms each of which had a small balcony facing the mountains. The bedrooms were large with lots of storage and the beds were very comfortable. All the rooms had good shutters, mosquito blinds and glass doors. The living room had a large sofa which converts into a bed. It seems a few cushions were missing. By the kitchen is a fixed dining table which could just seat 6 but the fridge would then be be blocked. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and cooker. There was lots of new crockery and cutlery. On websites, pictures from the different apartments seem to be mixed up so it is difficult to assess the layout of each apartment. The balcony was very large and faced south west. Its spectacular. The toilet is in the bathroom. There is a very large hand basin and a quite small shower. There was some raki, toasts, jam and water when we arrived, which was very kind. Nadine the agent from Cretan Travel, who saw us in, was professional.

Unfortunately there was no shade at all after mid day on the main balcony. so it was unusable from about 1 pm until 8 pm when the sun set. Even the living room got uncomfortably warm by late afternoon. We stayed at the beginning of June, although temperatures did get up to 30 degrees. Photos show six chairs around a big table but there were only 3 wooden chairs and they were aging. There wee no chair cushions. The Bar B Que in the garden was full of all sorts of builders materials that would make it difficult if not impossible to use. Also the owner, I presume, who seemed to live in a downstairs apartment, often had parties with friends in the garden in the evening. I would have been reluctant to use the garden in these circumstances. Unfortunately, from the tiny bedroom balconies, although the mountains were spectacular, there were commercial greenhouses, many houses and a scruffy field in the foreground which included an abandoned car and other rubbish. At night it was noisy with dogs, cats, foxes and motor scooters. There were no dishwasher tablets, only one small drying cloth and no spare toilet roll when we arrived and there was only a small, one-person, cafetiere. The bottle opener was so worn it is difficult to open beer bottles.
