Location, location, location... Its right in the heart of Malasaña, but in a quiet street. There's a lot going on around you with great bars and restaurants really close by, just not directly in front of you which is great for peace and quiet at night. The apartment has AC which is so convenient during the summer and sometimes rare to find. The kitchen has most stuff you'd need for a short stay to cook your meals.
The price feels a bit steep in comparison to similar rentals. The sofa wasn't comfortable, and the bed could be a bit better (but wasn't uncomfortable per se). The bedroom has a window right next to the building's stairway, so sometimes you may be woken up by neighbors coming in late at night.

Confortable bed, the furniture, appliances and menage was new or almost new.
The acoustics of the hall and stairwell is too good, you can hear everything thats is happening there, from steps to (un)locking doors.
