    Hotel ada dua tingkat. Di tingkat bawah ruangnya kuat bau bawang. Mungkin sebab ada masak2 tapi tidak diselengara dengan baik. Tapi kemudahan, keselesaan bilik yang luas. Bilik mandi asing tapi ada air panas. Cuma air cepat bertakung lah. Yang lain ok

    I’d choose Red Room again if it was down to a convenient and affordable city centre location in the middle of a food haven. Unfortunately, the other residents were filthy unwashed pigs that left their excrement in the toilet every single time they used it. Not to mention theu broke the bidet every single time after too. The entire shared bathroom condition left me disgusted with cleanliness and facilities. Not the property manager’s fault, he did clean and repair the toilets as soon as I told him, but too late, the damage is done mate! There is parking on-site but parking in front is run by a very rude Indian fella, who thinks the world owes him a living. No proper communication on hours and fees are astronomical per day. You would be better off parking at the DBKL parking lots next door at Stripes Hotal. WiFi is decent, although if you experience a hovel living with pigs, you too would just choose one of the nearby cafes with internet. Overall, a 3/5 experience. Though no fault of theirs except broken facilities which need better maintenance. Room was good, air-cond is cool and cosy sleep is perfect here..

    The location itself is perfect including the building - very elegant and simplistic. For solo travelers, it is one of the best places you can stay, only if you can handle dirty. Bed is comfy but it comes with stains if you're unlucky and along that towels with holes in it. It has 2 toilet for a people of 5 which is good but not so good when one of them looks like a proper toilet and the other looks like the guy who was constructing it just gave up and left mid work, now the staff comes and does what they do best - a bit of quick fix every now and then. Partitions are thin and sounds gets around a lot. Most importantly, you cannot control the temperature, it's up to the staff to decide if you feel hot or cold. For some reason you can feel hot in your room but the corridor and the sink area is cold, like the central air con is literally above you when you're cleaning yourself, making it extremely cold to clean hands and face. The elevator is another story - basically the building has 2 elevator but either of them is frequently stopped for maintenance, making things worse for solo travelers since 2nd and 3rd floor is the only entrance to your room but the structure of the building makes it look like a puzzle for solo travelers, you have to figure it out. This building has several hotels and possibly the cheapest one is the solo one hence the low quality conditions. Nevertheless, the location is really good if you can handle unhygienic situations. The views are excellent and many mamaks along the way and also Western style cuisine. Main factors are: Central AC; can't control temperature, Unhygienic; Stains, torn towels etc, Elevator; you have to get used to the structure of the building to get entry into the accomodation(nothing complicated). On the 2nd floor is the place for you to check in but it is very smelly and some guys there smoke indoors although there is a huge balcony right outside the door. For a budget accomodation in Kuala Lumpur it's decent especially for solo travelers but, again, you have to sacrifice your hygiene and the need to change temperature since you can't control it - it's mostly normal and below normal in daytime.
