We loved our stay here but wouldn't pick the suite again - it's design is a bit of a let down comparing to smaller standard rooms. The furniture of the living room with giant TV, fridge and no windows feels unlivable. We didn't spend a minute there. The bedroom however was soulful and we loved the teaware in the room which allowed us to prepare our morning pot of favourite green tea. The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed a quiet night of sleep though in the morning we were woken up by the noise of the trucks at the nearby construction site that is at its final stages. Overall, we wish there was more daylight in the suute though the whole hotel is like a gallery with scrolls, contemporary artwork and a giant tree trunk log, plus a giant vivarium / aquarium in the middle of it. The young staff at the front desk is very kind and helpful, despite language barriers. We didn't try the free evening congee at the communal diner but we think it's a brilliant idea to get the hotel guests together instead of full happy hour. Cool concept, will be back if we choose to stay in the area which is convenient to access by MTR though a little off the main path with few attractions in the immediate vicinity.

I stayed here to go to a local club for a famous dj, probably the closest hotel to that area. Rooms super clean, easy to walk to food and drinks, and reception over extended themselves to help order food/navigate the area as an only English speaker. The hotel itself inside is very pretty even though on the outside it’s near a highway area. The helpful staff really make staying here easy so that’s why I’d recommend staying here.

    The room is quite small.
