The staff are available to assist guest most of day. Super friendly and helpful. Free carpark space (2 - 3 I guess).
It's a bit challenge to find the carpark space as it locates bottom of driveway. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the accommodation.

Wild boar curry dinner was very good. Traditional Japanese breakfast was very good. Masashi-san is a friendly, warm, pleasant host and very good chef.
Paying extra for towels. Maybe, simply include in the price. Ready-made coffee/tea pot in the kitchen with creamer/milk/sugar in the morning would be nice. Walls are a bit thin and voices/noise carries across. Lighting in the rooms could be a little bit brighter with a couple more lamps.

Perfect place to stay if you are after Japanese rural area experience. Stuff are friendly, room and beds are comfortable (It’s a backpacker place). Highly recommended

The hosts were lovely. We ordered the dinner and was very tasty.
We had to pay extra for towels, which was inconvenient given we were travelling by bike and trying to keep what we carried to a minimum. The walls also seemed quite thin, and we could clearly hear the people in the next room. The accommodation was located up a fairly steep hill and was a little out of the way if your main purpose is to ride the Shimanami Kaido directly.
