    Situated about 300 - 500 mts from main road , you have to navigate a dirt road to reach the property. There is sufficient space to park outside the property. The rooms are big enough - the beds were two single beds and not very suitable for couple stay. There are places arranged like Captains Pavilion , swings and hammock for sitting around and enjoying the nature or chatting or have a campfire going . The complimentary breakfast and the dinner was good and sufficient. Warm and hospitable hosts .

    We stayed overnight in September 2025. Property run by the family is right in midst of their plantation within the forest. Great natural surroundings. Rooms are nice, well maintained and clean linens. Hosts are very friendly and love to discuss nature, spices plantation. Captain Hegde is a nature enthusiast. He gave us a wonderful tour of their plantation. Home cooked Food is served in the dining area. Food was tasty, however the quantities were very conservatively prepared barely enough for first serving. Overall a nice place for nature lovers however the tariff is quite overpriced.

    We had an amazing stay at Captains Camp. This is located very close to Sirsi town. Place is surrounded by western ghats forest and surrounded by greenery. Hosts are amazing and Captain is an awesome personality. Bf had so much local options. Highly recommended.
