Villavenezia apartment in villa with garden on the sea of Capo S.Marco Sciacca

Excellent location with beautiful views.A short drive to the town of Sciacca and a number of local beaches.The host lives on site and is quick to respond if there are any issues, there wasn't!

The view was spectacular. Accommodations were adequate. Owners were pleasant. The pictures and description of property were misleading. They present the property as a single downstairs unit with a roof top patio. The actual entrance in a narrow iron staircase up to a loft unit and patio with the owners living downstairs. My son kept hitting his head because of the loft ceiling angles. My daughter and I couldn't have managed even the luggage without my sons' assistance. If anyone with any physical limitations booked it, they would never be able to stay.

Great location with a deck that overlooks the Mediterranean. We had an easy access to the Valley of Temples, Palermo and Segesta. We would recommend this place to anyone.

We have spent a wonderful two-week holiday in this apartment. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace across the colourful garden and sparkling Mediterranean towards Sciacca and the mountains beyond. It is well worth getting up early in the morning to watch the sunrise.It is an ideal location for exploring the fascinating layers of history in this region, from the ancient ruins at Segeste and the classically beautiful temples of Agrigento, to the dramatic medieval town of Erice. Relaxing days can be spent at the local family beach of San Marco or at the more remote locations in the vicinity of Eraclea Minoa. We did not attempt to use public transport and a car is probably a necessity. And our advice – “when in Sicily drive like a Sicilian!”The apartment is comfortable, well-appointed and good value for money. However, it is the owners, Giuseppe and Iryna, who set this apartment above all others. They are very unobtrusive but more than willing to help if asked. Giuseppe will proudly share his local knowledge and give advice on sites to visit and places to eat. But, more importantly, we will always be eternally grateful for their support, kindness and generosity when my husband required urgent medical treatment. Giuseppe acted as our chauffer, interpreter and carer during our hospital visits. We appreciate everything he did for us and will never be able to thank him enough. We also thank Iryna for supplying comfort food and polishing our car before our return journey home. Above and beyond the call of duty! Whether Jim is allowed to go on holiday again is up to the result of Brexit and his wife!!!
