About this villa rental
Very cosy, very well equipped, in perfect condition and with excellent location. 100m from the coast with unobstructed sea views from the living room and bedroom, and views of the quiet countryside from the kitchen and terrace. Absolutely calm environment in all seasons. Kitchen, living room with cosy dining area, bathroom with shower. Very complete equipment (dishwasher, washing machine), Sleeping comfort: bed of 180 x 200 cm that can be separated into 2 beds of 90 x 200 cm. Cable and HD satellite receiving a multitude of international channels (Astra and Hotbird ) . Air conditioning (hot and cold). Barbecue. Linen provided. Departure cleaning and washing of linen on departure included in the price. 3 sea water pools including one heated and covered in cool season with a basin of 12m x 5.50m (open all year) and one 30m long. Children's small pool and playground. Childcare. 3 tennis. Car park. Wide lawns, flowers in all seasons. Mini supermarket 100 m, Inter Marché supermarket 700 m, restaurant 100 m, super sandy beach 100 m, golf course 6 km. Shuttle service to Armacao de Pera 2km (chargeable). Reception 24h / 24h.

It was clean. The beach, pool & staff were wonderful. Owner answered my questions very fast. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the bed pillows as 1 was all lumpy and others are very flat making it hard to sleep.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Vila Senhora da Rocha in late July/early August.. The flat, which is the top floor of a villa, is very pleasant and well equipped. The villa is well maintained and cared for. There is a beautiful view to the sea from the windows of the sitting room and bedroom. The view is also over the grounds, which are beautifully maintained and there are lovely, vibrant shrubs and flowers everywhere which stand out against the traditional white of the villas. There is a short walk to the swimming pools and the beach. The large pool is salt water which makes it very pleasant to swim in. The beach is scenically beautiful and the swimming is safe, with the usual care. There are steep steps down to the beach. The site is served by a small supermarket which sells excellent fresh bread and pastries, as well as essential food and household products. There is also a cafe/restaurant by the pools.There are excellent restaurants locally, and large supermarkets.. There are many other beaches at easy reach, and beautiful sea trips are available to see the sea caves and look for dolphins.. (We were lucky and saw many of them at close range.) There is an outstanding pottery at Porches and many other pleasant trips are available. We had a delightful and relaxing holiday and can warmly recommend this as a holiday destination.
