I paid for a room with a balcony and what I got was a fire escape . There was no one at the front desk so after waving at the security camera for a while someone finally came over. And gave me the room I paid for. Why do I have to jump through these hoops? I don’t consider that very good customer service.

Pros: the hosts are super kind and welcoming, sufficient room size, Hot shower with good pressure (nowhere to hang shower head tho). Cons: location is not in the main area of Tam Coc and not really walking distance. Probably biking there is okay but we took Grab because it rained. Noise from the street (you can hear every scooter passing in the road nearby) also noise from bathroom because the window is leaking into the bathroom in rainy season. In room 02 we had leakage from ceiling which dripped right on the bed so we had to move it to the center of the room. Toilet a bit broken, when you flush the water it keeps on running and making noise. Also bedding is not the smoothest to touch but it wasn’t an issue for us (put pajamas if you’re sensitive).

The best hotel you could possibly stay at. Stylish design—everything is well thought out, comfortable, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing. The host is friendly and helpful. It has the best location in the area, with a stunning view of the sea just a 2-minute walk away, plus the ferry and the port. I’d give this place a 100 out of 10! I highly recommend it!!!

Great value for 2 rooms which each has bedroom. Spacious and good stuff in the room. Great window view to see ocean and night life of bridges and buildings. They were renovating so you can still smell the painting of for walls. There are buses going to the main popular city of hk then you can bus or train further. They offer free shuttle to those towns every 30 min but queue up as it is really packed. Would recommend it but the price has gone back up.
