私達はフェリーでトルコのマルマリスからロードス島に訪れました。フェリー埠頭まで公共交通機関が無くオーナーのIriniさんがFIAT PANDAで迎えに来てくれました。チェックインした際、冷たい自家製ゼリーのウェルカムサービスがあり火照った体に染みわたりました。 部屋はアパートメントタイプでキッチン、リビング、寝室、バスルーム、冷蔵庫、洗濯機と長期滞在もできそうです。 Iriniさんは諸々気づかってくださり、ありがたかったです。 ロードス城塞、騎士団長の館、アクロポリスも徒歩圏内で観光の拠点にはリーズナブルで最適です。 島を訪れる前に「ロードス島攻防機（塩野七生著）」を読むと市内のあちこちに有る石球の正体が判ります。

部屋に有った洗濯機の脱水機能が働かなかったのが残念。でも外干しで一晩で乾いた！

We appreciate you so much Irinis for staying awake to greet us and your extremely warm welcome. You completely understood how tired we would be after a 9+ hour flight. Your home was perfectly prepared, and being given 24-hour access during our stay was an absolute plus! We had a great time exploring the city from your place. The location was incredible—even with the heat slowing us down, it was so convenient being a 20-minute walk from the main bus station and within walking distance to the Acropolis and Elie Beach. Having stores so close by made things incredibly convenient. We were so impressed by your home. It is extremely safe, and the layout with separate, enclosed spaces for different guests that also chose your accommodations was carefully planned and executed well. Some separate accomodations had smoking and some had non-smoking. We enjoyed our non-smoking area with no smoke smells. The bedroom that my family and I slept in was pristine, and the separate living room with a very comfortable sofa and kitchen area provided a great amount of space. Features like the privacy curtains, the stylish windows, and the ensuite washing machine were excellent additions, and the bathroom met everyone's needs perfectly. Most of all, thank you for your beautiful warmth and care that you extended throughout our stay. To add, your family is incredibly generous and extremely dedicated. Sharing dinner together was a true highlight of our trip. The meal was delicious and we ate it for three days. Irinis, you have such a thoughtful mind, and your kindness is something we will always remember. Thank you for being such an exceptional person to communicate with before we arrived to Rhodes Island, during and after. With deep gratitude,
