I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The place looks stunning and is beautifully designed, with room units arranged around a pool in a very pleasant layout. The pool is always pleasant and open at all times, which makes it easy to enjoy whenever you like. Each room complex also has a cozy lobby area where you can sit and relax. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is exceptionally luxurious. The entire staff is always ready to assist and happy to help with anything you need. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back! 😊

Beautiful and tranquil property, lovely large room. Staff very sweet and helpful.

Food and drinks were overpriced. Breakfast very average. Also it’s a tidal beach with no easy beach access.

Absolutely everything, design, hospitality, quality of beds, sheets, towels etc etc. Spotlessly clean every where in the building. Delicious food and drinks. Also for non-residents of the hotel. The chef is a great cook. We decided to have dinner here three nights. Breakfast and hot and iced coffee/tea menu also fantastic. In the pictures it looks like a secluded place but it is at the road. In the rooms no noise at all except for an early bird, literally;-) Staff is amazing, arranged motorbikes and ferry reservations and always with a smile. Two pools for your morning (or evening) swim.

There is really nothing to dislike

We really really enjoyed our stay at the Yao Bada Badoo Resort, the most comfortable bed (so much that I wanted to buy the same bed covers/pillows) and bedroom, the air-conditioner made me cold in Thailand which is almost impossible haha both swim pools are amazing and breakfast is ala carte and very decent but the highlight of this place is the staff, specially Koya who is absolutely fantastic, that woman works like a trooper! Always checking on us and making sure our stay is perfect. Also a big highlight of the place is Junior, the ginger cat!! ❤️

The bedroom is absolutely fabulous but I really missed a balcony or somewhere that I could dry my clothes. The breakfast is basic and freshness could improve a bit.

Staff Are Polite, But Training Is Severely Lacking The staff members are undeniably sweet and polite, and it’s clear they are trying. However, politeness is not a substitute for hospitality training. For a hotel charging luxury prices, the lack of basic service understanding is alarming.

1.⁠ ⁠“Suite with Pool View” — Completely Misleading We booked a suite with a pool view. Any reasonable expectation of a suite includes at least a separate living area or two distinct spaces. This was one large room with a chair in the corner. As for the “pool view,” it is not visible from the bed at all. The only place you can partially see the pool is from a small window awkwardly placed near the wardrobe. Calling this a pool-view suite is simply misleading. 2.⁠ I requested a bedsheet change due to a visible food stain. The housekeeping staff reacted by making faces and speaking among themselves while gesturing at the stain, which made me very uncomfortable. Regardless of language, the body language was clear and unprofessional—something I have never experienced 3.⁠ ⁠Bizarre and Incorrect Smoking Policy We politely asked if we could smoke in the open pool area, where an ashtray was already placed. There were no other guests on the property at all. We were told, “Government rules do not allow guests to smoke in hotels.” This is Thailand. The statement is blatantly incorrect and frankly absurd. If there is a hotel-specific policy, staff should be trained to explain it properly instead of giving false information. 5.⁠ The Incident That Ruined the Experience — “Room Service” That Isn’t After a long day, we ordered room service and clearly stated we would eat in the room. When the food arrived, it was left outside near the pool in the heat. When I asked for it to be placed inside, the staff member refused. She claimed eating inside could lead to extra charges for “mess or damage” and that air-conditioning was “not good because of smell.” None of this was communicated beforehand or written anywhere, making the concept of room service meaningless. Exhausted and frustrated, my husband asked to my husband asked to cancel the order. Only after calling her manager was the food suddenly allowed inside. The interaction was patronising, illogical, and unacceptable.

We had an amazing stay! Thank you so much to the staff, they were so lovely, helpful and kind. We got offered a complimentary pick up from the pier, fruits and welcome drink on arrival, coffee hours in the afternoon,... Beautiful bathroom, two bigger pools. It's been great! 😍

Nice place and quiet

Nothing really

We loved this hotel. It was super quiet as we travelled in the quiet season (though we had great weather!) and had the hotel to ourselves. We were treated so well, the staff went out of their way to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. The room was great, as was the breakfast - they even brought out complementary gyozas and other dishes to show us local food. The hotel was peaceful and just what we wanted after a busy city break in ho chi min. The lady on the front desk was so lovely. We really can’t complain about anything. The staff arranged for pick up and drop off to the pier which was very helpful.

It wasn’t easy to find a way to the beach that didn’t involve going through the place opposite. Though scooters are around 200 baht a day so we just scooted to other beaches and explored the island, it was not a problem for us.
