About this chalet rental
Main house made of prefabricated wood and 2 cabins nestled in the Mantiqueira Mountains. Casa da Montanha is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy weekends and holidays with family and friends in complete privacy.
Come walk among the trees, admire nature, light a campfire and roast marshmallows under the stars, cook in a rustic kitchen, and enjoy family meals with a stunning view of the lush green Atlantic Forest.
Paiol Velho neighborhood with access via SP-50 - Old road from Monteiro Lobato to Campos do Jordão.

Our children have grown up and a new chapter is beginning for our family. That's why we've decided to share this paradise in the Mantiqueira Mountains with those who enjoy nature and off-road excursions.
The property offers a Main Wooden House for 4 people (1 double bedroom and 1 convertible double bedroom/living room) + A-Frame Cabin (suite) for 4 people + Rustic Wooden Cabin for 2 people + Ranch with barbecue and wood-burning stove.
The main wooden house, with a ground-floor veranda, has 1 bedroom with a king-size bed, 1 bedroom/living room with a fireplace and a standard double bed, and 1 bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, refrigerator with freezer, fondue pots, electric fryer, various utensils for meals, a dining table with 6 seats and an American-style counter with 2 stools.
The ranch has a barbecue grill, sink, enameled wood-burning stove (already old and full of gastronomic stories), American-style counter with 3 stools and a table for 8 people.
The Rustic Wooden Cabin has a standard double bed and a ground-floor veranda. The bathroom is outside.
The A-Frame Cabin (suite) has a queen-size box spring bed + 1 single bunk bed with a private suspended wooden deck offering a wonderful view.
In total there are 3 bathrooms with shower, glass shower enclosure, sink and toilet.
We also offer a dry sauna with a private natural water tank.
On-site parking, a fire pit in front of the ranch, and free 200 Mbps fiber optic WiFi internet access.
You'll need to drive on a bit of dirt road to get there. In good weather, any car can make it up. During rainy periods, we recommend access only for 4x4 vehicles.
It's not exactly a problem, but it's important to emphasize that we are not responsible for insect, spider, or snake bites. Our children grew up there during vacations and weekends, and we never had any problems. To avoid accidents of this type, we always recommend walking around the property in high boots.

During periods of heavy rain, we recommend that guests with 4x4 vehicles stay here, as the road within the property is steep with slippery rocks, making it difficult for 4x2 vehicles to ascend. However, in good weather, any vehicle can make the climb.
Children of all ages are welcome.
There are no cribs or extra beds available.
There is 1 extra single mattress in the Main House.
We are hosts (individuals) who rent out the property for purposes unrelated to our profession, business, or trade. We are not legal entities (such as hotel chains or independent guesthouses).
