This cottage is conveniently located not far off of highway #15 at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 40 minutes from the Canada/US border, and only one hour and 25 minutes from Ottawa. A great place for extended families to congregate.

A lovely home on the water, with a lot of privacy and nature all around you. The kitchen is fully equipped and the island serves as extra counter space for whipping up yummy meals. There are only 2 bedrooms in the house 1 in the bunkie and only 1 shower in the house (1 in the bunkie). We were a bit surprised by that, but the 10 of us made it work. You will need to bring your own towels, linens, body wash/shampoo, and take all garbage & recycling with you. These aren’t dealbreakers, but are important to know in advance. Finally, we wish communication with the host Robin was a bit better.All in all we had a lovely stay, the lake was great for swimming and the house is roomy and comfortable. Would definitely book again!!

Perfect getaway. Property is clean and had everything we needed for an amazing weekend. Plenty of space, large dock and tons of equipment for activities on the water or on land. Also beautiful sunsets from the property. At night, it's dark enough for stargazing.Also some of the best fishing right off the property dock. Caught several PBs, the highlight being a monster 6lb large mouth bass right after sunset.

We had a blast! The lake is great for swimming g and boating, and there is a ton of fun stuff for indoor relaxation — fooseball, pool, axe throwing, board games. The split into a main house and bunkhouse is very convenient. The property is also beautiful.

We had a great time at the Lakeside Retreat on Lake Opinicon. 9 work buddies enjoyed four days of fishing. The property was very clean, plenty of room in the main house and bunkie. The check-in & check-out process was very smooth and we will definitely come back to this property again.
