First off, this is a nice house in a very good location for our purposes. It's huge and the size of the house was great for our group. We did, however, have a number of issues with our stay. It started with the check-in process. For the first time since I've used VRBO, I did not receive check-in instructions in the 24-48 hours before check-in. I tried to contact the host numerous times before our arrival without success. We pulled into the driveway at 10 minutes before check-in and the host finally called me back. At that point, she had no idea about our reservation (made 11 months prior)...at about 4:15, she called back with the code to enter the house. Not what I'd call a sterling start. After settling in, we started to acquaint ourselves with the property. The TV's was not hooked up the large living room, and the theatre room, one of the main advertising points of the house, was completely out of order. At dinner time we then noticed a distinct lack of kitchen utensils for a large group...very limited silverware and somewhat limited glasses and coffee cups with an assortment of dishes from numerous sets. The refrigerator door almost fell completely off one evening and a couple of guys were able to get it back on its hinges. Several of the kitchen chairs almost collapsed when sitting in them and numerous electrical outlets did not work. Also, there were no tips on any of the pool cues. We had really hoped for a 'premium' stay to match the premium we paid.
