Lac de Sainte Croix is an easy 7-minute walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers covered onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make the 6-minute drive to Gorges du Verdon.

Relax on the deck or patio (enjoy the outdoor furniture!) of this 1184-sq-ft vacation home, which also offers a fitness center and a BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

As you settle into this 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a dining area, and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. This clean and spacious home right in the center of the village was perfect for our visit to the Lac de Ste Croix. It's steps away from the local store called Proxi, and if you don't want to cook there are several great restaurants around the corner. If you're timing is good, there's even a weekly market that pops up in town with regional vendors selling their goods. The home is perfectly situated to enjoy the conveniences of the village plus it's just a short walk to the lake. Don't miss the walking path down by the water, it's a beautiful way to start your day. The Gorges du Verdon is only about 10 minutes away by car, and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is only a few minutes further. We had only 2 days but wish we had more time, there's quite a lot to see and do. When it's warm get to the lake early if you want to rent equipment, it gets quite busy. The washer was a great feature since this location was the mid-point of our 11 day trip. One note, there is a large refrigerator in the kitchen but it does not have a freezer. We purchased some ice at Proxi before we headed down to the lake.
