Located in the Island's popular East End neighborhood, Serenade of the Sea is close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire Island and St. George Lighthouse Museum and fishing pier. Just across the bridge are Eastpoint's seafood markets and craft brewery and the eclectic shopping, arts and culinary scene of historic and charming Apalachicola are just 25 minutes by car!
The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete parking and a covered entry. A convenient elevator assists with quickly unpacking for your Island vacation. Enjoy a private boardwalk to the sandy shore and a wonderful enclosed outdoor shower after a day in the sun. An exterior spiral staircase conveniently connects all floors of this home directly to the ground floor. A fish cleaning area and park-style grill are provided for your fresh catch.

I don't want to say too many great things about this location but it is my absolute favorite on the island (i'd like to keep that our secret!!) House was as described, beds very comfortable, kitchen well appointed (except little under powered microwave but not a deal killer).

The home is older, but has character. It just feels like a great beach house with many happy memories. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed the views both of the beach and the bay. The beds were very comfortable, the dining area just right, and the living area big enough for gathering. There were a few minor details we have already reported to the rental agency and are sure will be taken care of. Overall, we would be glad to stay here again. It just felt like home.

We’ve been renting on St. George Island for over 20 years. Now our boys are grown and have families, and we've continue to vacation on St. George Island. We had 8 adults and 3 children in our group. In the past, we’ve rented on the plantation. This is the second year that we’ve rent at Sunset Beach because it’s not as crowded and closer to everything. On the whole, we had a fabulous time staying at Serenade Of The Sea. The four bedrooms/baths on the first level were very comfortable. The bedroom off the kitchen although it was advertised as having a queen bed it definitely not a queen bed. My husband and I slept there, and although the bed was comfortable, It was more like a double than a queen. I’d suggest putting a king bed in that room. I’d also suggest that they upgrade the shower head in the main level bathroom, get a better microwave for the kitchen, buy new pans because the pans in the kitchen were nonstick, which end up pealing, and allow at least two bath towels per person for the week. The pots were fine. We loved being on the beach. The living area couches and chair and the main dinner table was fabulous. The garage had lots of beach chairs and boogie boats although they weren’t advertised, so we rented and brought our own. I would recommend the house, but would only suggest one person sleep in the main level bedroom. The mattresses were all comfortable, which is so important when renting a house for a week.
