Formerly a 16th-century public house, the owners have retained the charm of a country inn with the comfort of a private hot tub.. 3 steps to entrance (level access via side gate to back door).

Please do not charge electric vehicles, please use the charging points in nearby supermarket car park.. This elevated property enjoys beautiful views to the front. Originally a public house, this property offers guest comfortable accommodation while retaining the charm of the country inn. The property includes an enclosed garden and full use of a private hot tub. Montgomery Castle is literally a short walk away. The Offa’s Dyke National Trail runs close to the town, providing a good excuse to get your boots on and head off for a walk, with vineyards and home-made ice cream suppliers nearby.
Guests are also very close to the National Trust properties Powys Castle, Chirk Castle, Erddig and Attingham Park. The Welshpool to Llanfair steam railway, Montgomery Canal and Lake Vyrnwy are all local and well worth a visit. Quad biking, paintballing and horse riding are all available locally, and watersports can be found at Bala Lake and in Llangollen, a 40-minute drive. Historic Shrewsbury is a 30-minute drive away, while within easy driving distance there is also Welshpool and Newtown all of which host a wide range of bars, shops and restaurants, and the west Wales coastline is approximately an hour’s drive away.
