Close to the Beach and Lake Huron. Sunrises were just beautiful. Very nice lake view even though it sits behind two other cottages.
Close to the Township of Oscoda, shops and other stores. Beautiful small Town atmosphere with friendly people. Loved walking out and sitting on the porch for coffee in the morning and eating supper at night. The rooms were very clean.
The Garden Cottage is very close to US 23 and could be noisy at times. The Futon was very uncomfortable to sit on while watching the TV and wanting to relax. A couple of comfy chairs and sofa would add to the charm of the cottage. It is small and cozy. At the end of the day, we still enjoyed our stay! The price to rent is very reasonable!

My family and I loved how close we were to the beach/water. We also liked how private and quiet it was. We also greatly appreciated being able to have our dog with us, because a lot of places don’t allow them.
The AC in our cottage was very loud.

Location was good.
For the high price I paid the grill should have been full of gas. The toilet was to low and I thought I was right on the beach and not behind other buildings. I didn’t even have a sidewalk to the cottage.
