Bed and Breakfast Panorama

Breakfast was excellent and lots of food. The view was amazing. Really nice host.

Would have been nice if there was some earlier communication about a few days before arrival so the guest and host can keep in touch earlier.

We stayed one night in the Panorama Room which was quite large and well appointed with a lovely view of the mainland and river. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. While we chose to just have cereal and yogurt for breakfast, a homemade breakfast was offered that others appeared to be enjoying. The host was friendly enough.

We were instructed to NOT put our used toilet tissue into the toilet to be flushed, but to instead put it in the wastepaper basket beside the toilet. This was because the septic system could not handle the paper. While this may be acceptable at a family cottage, I don't expect to do such a thing in a place of business amongst strangers. It doesn't feel cleanly and had I known this would be required, I would not have booked it. It was not an emergency situation that required action that day but a regular requirement of those staying, as it was included in all the literature in the room detailing wifi, checkout time, etc. Strangely, I have looked through the reviews and no one else mentions this! The shower was also awkward to use. It is a large soaker tub that a shower head has been added to. The water easily escaped the shower curtain and I was concerned about causing water damage to the point that I felt I had to use the hand held attachment, turn the water off and soap up and then rinse with the hand attachment again. While not a deal breaker, the shower was just a little difficult.
