Paris - Notre Dame - Panthéon - Luxembourg - 30 m2

I loved my stay in Paris. The apartment is super clean. It looks to have been only recently refurbished so everything is still very pristine - the accommodation looks like the photos on Booking.com. The moment I walked in I knew I'd be right at home. The location of the accommodation is so central. It is only a ten minute walk from a metro station - line 4 will get you to the Gare du Nord.. And, it's a 3 minute walk from a bus stop - the number 27 and 21 buses will get you to the Louvre and back. The accommodation is only a quick walk to the Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Co., Le Jardin du Luxembourg and Pantheon. I even walked the 20 or so minutes to the metro station Chatelet as I was headed to L'Opera Garnier. The flat came equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The host, Fabian, was there to greet me when I first arrived and showed me around the apartment. He made sure I knew how everything worked. He is very approachable and friendly. I really, really hope I get to visit again and sooner rather than later. There's so much to see in Paris that one can't see it all in one trip.

The flat suited my needs perfectly. As per other reviews, be aware that the stairs are as old as the building. I didn't count the flights but other reviewers have mentioned 4x flights so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. And, make sure you don't over pack your suitcases as you have to carry them up and back down. Regardless of where one travels, one should always pack an eye mask and ear plugs just in case. That said, the apartment is sufficiently set back from the nearest main road that one doesn't hear traffic noise, but, as in any building one isn't used to, odd noises are accentuated. This may bother some visitors and not others. And, in Paris, just as in any other major city (New York, London etc.) you will occasionally hear sirens in the distance. That's just part of the atmosphere. If pushed, my only negative comment is that guests could do with knowing where the nearest supermarket is as I got dangerously close to having to buy more toilet paper - Fabian provided an initial supply. (Okay, you google whizz kids can probably work it out using your mobile phones. Nevertheless, a steer from Fabian as to which supermarche he rates for value or convenience etc. would I'm sure be apprecaited).

This location in the Latin Quarter was fantastic! We were there for four nights. It was close to multiple train stations and wonderful sites to see (Pantheon & Notre Dame). There were many cafes, restaurants, and shops - all within walking distance - AND the neighborhood felt very safe. Our host, Fabrice, was very gracious and helpful and even helped us get to the right place to find tickets for one of the many museums!

I can't think of anything we didn't like, honestly!
