Coral Coast Fiji offers a fantastic beachfront location at a lower rate that the neighbouring higher-end villas and holiday accommodation. The beach borders an expansive coral reef, which remains shallow for much of the day. A nearby public jetty and park are within easy walking distance, and guests can borrow canoes, stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling gear, masks and goggles free of charge. One of the things that makes Coral Coast Fiji different is the shared self-catering kitchen. It's similar to a backpacker-style communal space, with a large shared fridge, lounge and TV area. Just across the road are a small supermarket, fruit stall, petrol station and several cafés and restaurants, making it easy to pick up groceries or grab a meal. The supermarket has fairly basic supplies, so it's best suited to simple cooking. The owners and staff were consistently warm, welcoming and hardworking. They created a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere that we really appreciated.

If you enjoy a laid-back style of travel, you'll likely find it easy to overlook some of the small inconveniences and appreciate what the property has to offer. The building is functional rather than architecturally refined. We found the shower temperature fluctuated between warm and cool, and the hot water didn't last very long. The television offers the main local Fiji channels, so entertainment options are fairly limited. A few small additions could make the guest experience even better. In the bathroom, face cloths and a towelling bath mat would be useful alongside the existing towels. In the kitchen, tea towels, hand towel, a spatula, a chopping board, a good selection of stainless steel cooking pots and utensils - and a supply of communal cooking oil would be appreciated, as buying a full bottle for a short stay feels wasteful. Depending on occupancy, an additional cooking element for busy meal times could also help.

They have 2 kitchens so you can prepare food. They also have laundry on site. They will prepare food for you as well. ATM & small super market across the street. Pool is very nice. Easy access to beach & ocean. They have kayaks & paddling board

Lovely staff, plenty of areas to relax, right on the beach, short walk to local shops, spacious and comfortable room

Since we had a toddler we would have liked it if the pool was fenced. Also some of the tiles around the pool and in the room are very slippery when wet and since our toddler isn’t steady on her feet yet she slipped over a few times. A bigger fan and/or air conditioning in the gym would be welcome too.

They got a caretaker 24/7, supportive and happy to listen The manager was a fun-loving person and full of joy. The property is well secured with locked gate and just enough parking place to park your car. We stayed at the ground floor room which was spacious. Property is too close to the beach and coral. Pool is well maintained too and best part the supermarket was just across the property along with two restaurants.

In coming days, they need to replace the taps in toilets and bathrooms as they seem run downed.
