As a host, Marco was outstanding! All inquiries were promptly answered The apartment was supplied with everything required for a comfortable stay.The kitchen had modern appliances which all worked and facilitated any cooking one might desire to do while staying there. An Italian coffee machine and the beans added a nice touch. The Wi-fi speed was good and the TV channels were numerous ;Disney and Prime were included.. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. The bathroom was like a magazine showpiece with its modern fixtures.Water pressure and temperature were easily controlled. The outstanding unique asset of Cav Motteno was a functional fireplace in the sitting room.In addition,Marco kept us supplied with wood since we burned wood every night we were there . The location was superb since there were many pastry shops and eating places within walking distance.Free parking was also available nearby.The town ,itself, sits nestled in high mountains and on the shoreline of Lake Como; it is an impressive sight and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If we return to this region ,Cav Motteno will definitely be our first choice of a place to stay.Afterall,how can one beat the combination of an outstanding host,comfortable living facilities,and picturesque location?

While not really a "dislike" because we knew this in advance, one must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access the apartment which is a one level above the street entrance...The climb is definitely worth it!

Staying here was like checked in to a luxury hotel. Everything was prepared thoughtfully. Scented living room, big sized TV, well equipped kitchen and sorts of amenities. The host Marco was very friendly and helpful. He tried the best to provide us what we needed during our stay, really impressive! If you come with a car, please take my advise. There is free parking nearby: https://maps.app.goo.gl/7tqcYoX2zF4yaM5z8 But not guaranteed, as it is a public parking lot, cars come and go. You may have to run your luck for an open spot. If it's full, then try somewhere else around, then come back later. It is recommended that before checking in, park your car nearby first, then walk to the door of the property to meet the host. Because streetside parking in front of the apartment is not so feasible.

Convenience for walking to shops, restaurants, train station and lake front. Easy to park opposite the door to unload luggage and then free park 150 metres away in an off street car park. Marco was full of information about the town and transport options on the lake. Highly recommend staying here.

The apartment is placed in the center of the city. It was recently renovated and the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The apartment was spotless. The host, Marco, made everything to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. We really appreciated his help and kindness.

The apartment was lovely. It was clean and everything you need for everyday life was available. The host was very nice and even provided tea bags, ciobar and other stuff. The location is good, the lake is not even a 10-minute walk away and a bakery and restaurants are almost right on the doorstep.

Such a lovely apartment, comfortable, clean and Marco was really friendly and helpful. It also had so many great facilities and things included in the building such as a great coffee machine and little snacks. Would recommend!

The location is a bit quiet but nice for a romantic getaway

Hi, the Cav Motteno is very underrated. We had 4 diferent acomodation during our holiday. I have predicted based on the comments that this will be the worst, and actualy it was the best. The only missing thing is the air condition, but it is not as bad as it sounds, the building is not so hot. And everithing else was perfect. Everithing is modern, there is a big comfortable kitchen, and living place, and a small bakony for smoking. Bathroom is absolute clean and modern. The beds are comfortable.

The Apartment is big, very clean, renovated and very well equipped with everything (and more) you need. It fell almost like home. The bathroom is exeptional. Walking distance to town centre app. 10 minutes. The host was very kind and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

La casa en general está dotada de detalles , nos encantó.

Una de las puertas estaba descolgada haciendo que esa habitación pierda intimidad ,indica que hay aparcamiento , pero en días laborables es de pago .

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns alles gut erklärt. Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß und geeignet für eine große Gruppe (für uns 5). Gerne wieder!

Todo el alojamiento está lleno de prácticos y muy útiles detalles...la cocina super amplia y con todo lo que necesitas para un buen desayuno, incluido café recién molido por una fabulosa maquina de café. Mermeladas, miel, Nutella, pan tostado, frutos secos..agua. Cama muy cómoda, climatizado excelente...baño nuevo y muy limpio, incluso con albornoces..increíble. Ubicado en el centro del pueblo muy cerca de supermercados, pizzeria, pastelería y panadería Repetiría sin dudarlo

We waren helemaal verbaasd toen wij binnen kwamen. Wat een prachtig appartement midden in het dorpje. Er ontbreekt werkelijk aan niks Fantastisch regen douche. Prachtige keuken te veel om op te noemen Door de dikke muren en luiken is het appartement heerlijk koel te houden. Alles op loopafstand zoals restaurant,,winkels,Como meer,station en het Moto Guzzi museum Je wordt persoonlijk ontvangen en uitleg over het appartement. GEWELDIG.

Aunque fue una estancia corta, resultó absolutamente inolvidable. Desde el primer momento, la atención de Marco fue impecable: un anfitrión excepcional, siempre disponible, amable y dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitáramos. El piso estaba decorado con muy buen gusto y equipado con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y placentera. La cocina, moderna y funcional, contaba con una cafetera automática y una gran variedad de utensilios y accesorios que hicieron que preparar el desayuno fuera un verdadero placer. El baño era un auténtico lujo: amplio, con una disposición muy bien pensada y grifería de alta gama que aportaba un toque de sofisticación. Todo el alojamiento transmitía una sensación de cuidado y calidad en cada detalle. Mandello del Lario, el encantador pueblo donde se encuentra el alojamiento, es conocido por ser la cuna de la legendaria marca de motos Moto Guzzi, lo que añade un valor histórico y cultural muy especial. El entorno es simplemente de ensueño: paisajes que parecen sacados de un cuento, con montañas, lago y zonas de recreación ideales para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Durante nuestra estancia también tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Varenna y Bellagio, dos joyas del Lago de Como que nos dejaron maravillados por su belleza única y su atmósfera mágica. Sin duda, una experiencia muy recomendable que nos dejó con ganas de volver y quedarnos mucho más tiempo.

Alles war perfekt 🤩 sehr traditionelle schöne Unterkunft. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Ich kann garnicht alles aufzählen…der Kaffeeautomat mit den frischen Bohnen inkl. Frischwasser war vorbereitet, Tee, Pudding zum anrühren, Zwieback, Plätzchen, die Bestückung der Schränke, es gab sogar Bademäntel und ein Notfall Set im Badezimmer. Die weißen Handtücher waren auch weiß und haben gut gerochen. Es gab eine Regendusche und vieles mehr. Dieser Unterkunft fehlt es an nichts. Zu Fuß konnte man alles gut erreichen. Es gab eine Parkplatz für das Auto hinter dem Haus.
