Kini Resort - Luxury Beachfront Bamboo Resort

Il Kini resort è probabilmente l’hotel più accogliente di Sumbawa. Le ville sono molto belle e curate. Il bagno in perfetto stile indonesiano è incantevole. La camera, a doppia altezza, si apre su un paesaggio meraviglioso. La posizione del Kini Resort è unica, anche lo spazio ristorante/bar gode di una posizione privilegiata. Il luogo ideale per guardarsi un tramonto sorseggiando un buon drink.

Una volta finite le belle parole su posizione e struttura, passiamo alla nota dolente: il ristorante. Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti. E abbiamo provato il ristorante sia a cena, che per aperitivo, che a colazione. La vista? Meravigliosa!!! La qualità un po’ meno. Il ristorante è di scarsa/media qualità, nelle zone limitrofe troverete ristoranti per colazioni/pranzi/cene molto più interessanti e decisamente molto meno cari.

There was honestly so much to love about our stay. When we arrived at our villa, we were blown away! The view was breathtaking, and the villa just perfect. Genuinely one of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. A special mention to Rocky, who is one of the best managers we have ever encountered, incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely committed to making sure guests have a wonderful stay. We would also like to mention Angi, Aji and Eben, who all provided amazing service and made us feel so welcome. And the food! Absolutely next level, so fresh and full of flavour. We absolutely loved our stay and will return!

Honestly, there's very little we can fault. If we had to find something, the plunge pool was too cold to use, but we stayed in July when there wasn't much sun heating it, so that's not anyone's fault! It certainly didn't take away from what was an amazing stay.

The staff communication was extremely disappointing, the food was very ordinary & overpriced. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 We were overcharged on our mini bar, staff didn’t print receipt only demanded we pay amount shown on calculator. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 What I thought was a $65 AUD boat ride across ended up being $520 AUD. (one way) 👎🏼 They say they have a nice boat & at last minute change to a 3rd party boat & drop you off on sand at Maluk Harbour, then you have to contact again for pickup. 👎🏼 We only slept there as we hired motorbike though a lovely local & ate at nearby restaurants & coffee shops. We also sourced our own boat transport back to Lombok at much cheaper price.
