Pestana Apartments - In city center, Modern, New and Cozy

Modern, comfortable, spacious, easy to find parking around, close to markets, many facilities.

These are generally nitpicks and didn't affect our stay very much. We don't like going into home with our shoes on, and our socks got really dirty the first time we entered so the apartment could have been mopped better I suppose. Sometimes hot water was over early, two people couldn't shower sequentially. The shower head needed replacement, it was leaking. The toilet paper choice would be better, it is really thin. There are homeless-like people living near the apartment and they can get loud at night sometimes. Like I said, mostly nitpicks. Our stay was generally good.

Op het oog was het schoon maar er zat schimmel in de douche kit randen, de douche wanden waren vies een antikalk of Sopje zou al enorm schelen, de deuren zijn al lang niet schoongemaakt je zag vlekken en ook vergeeld op de witte kleding kasten. Afzuig rooster in de douche zat vol met stof kan dus niet goed meer afzuigen, stofzuiger mond (ook nog 1x gestofzuigd) zit vol met stof. Vond het te vies om het schoon te maken.

The property and location were very good, and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it even better is a bit more natural lighting inside the apartment or a balcony option.

The biggest issue with this property was the complete lack of management support. It was next to impossible to reach the property manager during our 7-night stay. Basic requests such as help with the AC, WiFi that barely worked in the back rooms, fresh towels, or even a simple floor cleaning went unanswered. I eventually had to wait at the entrance and intercept him as new guests were arriving just to get any assistance at all. While he was polite once confronted, this level of service is unacceptable. Guests should not have to chase down a manager to receive basic necessities. For the price paid, I expected far better service and responsiveness. The lack of communication created unnecessary stress and left a poor impression of the overall stay.
