Key to room was available in the box so I did not need to meet anyone. The owner is so nice. The location in the centre of Taormina, close to old town- 1 min, 3 min to bus station and 1 min to cable car is soo great.
The terrace where the breakfast is served is fantastic- lovely view to the whole seaside (as in the most expensive hotels)
There is no kettle in the room so you cannot make a tea or any hot drink if needed.

Close to town, sights, cable car station, and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean
Off-site parking is about 200m away down the hill and Euro 25 a night. There is absolutely ZERO soundproofing in the building - you hear EVERY single sound like it is in your own head. Beware. If you're last to bed, first to rise and don't move whilst you're there, you should be fine, but otherwise, be prepared for a disturbed night or early wake-up call. The breakfast area is a bit cramped too.
