Villa Julia La Herradura Marina del Este

The house was beautiful. From the moment we walked in and saw straight through to the back windows to the sea, we were in love with the house. Between the outdoor kitchen and the huge, covered outdoor area, we basically spent all of our waking hours outside. The pool was warm enough to use even though the weather was on the cooler side for late May (mid-20s). We would absolutely come back.

The only issue we had is that the hot water was nowhere near sufficient for 13 people. We'd not seen any mention of this in previous reviews so we thought something must be wrong, but the owner sent over the handyman to take a look and he said everything was fine. The water for the day would usually run out after 1 maybe 2 showers and then the other 11 of us would have cold showers for the rest of the day. The outside shower was on a separate system, but even that one started to run cold after about 3 quick showers. It seemed like the boiler was maybe only set to run a few hours of the day and we tried to inform the owner of this, but she insisted there was no problem. Hopefully since our visit this has been rectified.

The villa is fantastic. It is very well equipped, spacious, well maintained. The pool is great with a pool house including shower and toilet. Great sea view

Excellent facilities, beautiful view, easy access to help if needed with cleaner and maintenance visits.

Location was beautiful, but not a great deal within taxi travel distance. Path down the beach incredibly tricky to navigate with children/pushchairs but we managed it!
