Bright, spacious apartment in central area of Lagos

We had an excellent stay at Maria’s condo. It was everything we had expected and more. The apt was exceptionally clean. We had never been to Lagos before so everything was a learning experience. Since we did not have a car, the proximity to groceries was important. There are two big stores , Lidl and Pingo Doce very close. We were only 12 minutes to walk to bus station and 20 minutes to train which we took quite often to other parts of the Algarve. The beach was a 25 minute walk but we did not go often. Maria was always available for questions and while our stay was 30’days, she insisted on coming weekly to clean.

This beautiful apartment was perfect for my month stay. Maria was so helpful and easy to communicate with during my entire visit. The apartment was just as the photos. The many large windows and small balconies brought in so much natural light to the spacious apartment. All the windows had blinds that could be closed in the evenings for privacy. All the spaces were spotless and shining. Maria came weekly to change the sheets and towels and do a cleaning. The bed was very comfortable. Having a dryer was a bonus as the first 10 days were very wet and windy so was nice to be able to dry clothes. The provided heaters kept the chill off in the rooms during that time. The location was perfect in a quiet neighborhood but so walkable to all there was to see and do. There are 2 grocery stores within minutes. The bus station was an 8 min walk and it was 10-15 mins to the marina and train station and to the old town. The walks along the coast were spectacular and the dining was incredible. Maria had great suggestions and was an absolutely lovely person. I was sad to leave this wonderful location and certainly hope to return and stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Maria was very welcoming and very accommodating. She checked in on us a few times during our month stay to be sure that we were comfortable and always asked if we needed anything. She gave us lots of ideas of places to go and restaurants to try. The apartment was very nice with 2 large bedrooms and plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. Every window had a little balcony, which was quite charming. It was very clean and cozy. She provided us with heaters to stay warm since we visited in January.

This apartment is wonderful and we were happy that we had chosen to stay here for 4 weeks. It is very large with 5 rooms plus hallway and is about 80 m2. Each spacious room is well equipped. The lounge / dining room has a large flat screen TV and a library full of paperback novels in many different languages. The kitchen is well appointed with a large fridge, many appliances and with a large breakfast table and benches. The bathroom is good with a full size bath with shower, and also has a bidet. Both bedrooms are very large and the bedding is comfortable and there is ample storage. The views from each room are great and allow a cool breeze to flow through the house. Our host Maria was wonderful. Nothing was too much to ask for. The apartment was meticulously clean when we arrived and each week Maria would come to change the bed sheets and clean again. She is a great host and we will be sure to stay here again.
